To tell the truth, I read this because I liked the anime so much, but maybe because of that I was unable to enjoy the light novel. The narration feels awkward or is it because of the translation work?

All that aside, I really do love this series and would recommend it to others. There is a bit of romance between cousins, which can be a little weird for some people.
